I came across Mark Liu textiles (http://www.stique.com/) the other day and was particularly intrigued by his methods. He’s creating beautiful fashions out of zero waste patterns. I have a bag full of my own left overs from various sewing projects that I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with. I’m sure most major manufacturers just toss the extras. I love the idea of using it all to make really gorgeous forms.
